Lens Care
Simple care helps preserve clarity, tint, mirror finish, and coating performance.
Daily Cleaning
- Rinse loose dust, sand, salt, and debris from both sides of the lenses with clean lukewarm water.
- If needed, use a small amount of mild lotion-free dish soap and gently clean with clean fingertips.
- Rinse thoroughly.
- Dry with a clean, soft microfiber lens cloth. Use light pressure.
After Sweat, Saltwater, or Chlorine
Rinse the lenses and frame with fresh water as soon as practical. Salt, sweat, sunscreen, and pool chemicals can damage coatings when left on the surface. Dry the lenses completely before storage.
What to Avoid
- Do not wipe dusty or sandy lenses while dry.
- Do not use paper towels, tissues, clothing, or rough fabric.
- Do not use alcohol, acetone, ammonia, window cleaner, household cleaner, abrasive cleaner, or unapproved lens chemicals.
- Do not leave lenses on a car dashboard or expose them to high heat, open flame, or hot water.
- Do not place lenses face-down or carry them loose with keys, coins, or tools.
Storage
Store your eyewear in a clean protective case at normal room temperature. Keep the microfiber cloth clean and wash it without fabric softener when necessary.
Handling Mirror Lenses
Mirror coatings require gentle handling. Hold lenses by the edges where practical and avoid repeated rubbing. Fine surface wear caused by impact, abrasion, chemicals, heat, or improper cleaning is not a manufacturing defect.
Before Installation
Clean the frame grooves and check the frame for cracks, deformation, or loose parts. Installing a lens into a damaged or incorrect frame can damage both the lens and frame.
